Undergraduate students

Yulin Su (苏毓麟) || (October 2022- June 2023)

She completed her Bachelor thesis in our group working on the folding and deployment analysis of composite booms consisting of multiple tubular hinges. Her thesis was awarded as First Prize in the national graduation project competition for students in aeronautics and astronautics, as well as awarded by Sichuan University as one of the best theses (First Prize) of the year 2023 [Honor-1][Honor-2]. Following graduation, she will pursue her Master’s degree at University of Science and Technology of China.

Zhuowen Yan (晏卓雯) || (October 2022- June 2023)

During her time in our group, she collaborated with Yulin to complete a bachelor’s project, earning the unversity’s first prize for the best thesis of the year 2023 [Honor-2]. Her contribution involves refining theoretical formulations for the analysis of deployment mechanisms with intricate joints. Upon graduation, she will pursue her Master’s degree at Harbin Institute of Technology.

Liye Liu (刘立业) || (April 2022- June 2023)

During his time in our group, she collaborated with Yulin to complete a bachelor’s project, earning the unversity’s first prize for the best thesis of the year 2023 [Honor-2]. His contribution involves performing multibody dynamics simulation of composite deployable booms with joints. Following graduation, he will pursue his Master’s degree at Sichuan University.

Jinfeng Deng (邓金风) || (October 2021- June 2022)

She completed her Bachelor thesis in our group working on the deployment dynamics analysis of composite thin-walled lenticular tubes. Her thesis was awarded by Sichuan University as one of the best theses (Third Prize) of the year 2022, as well as awarded by Beihang University (BUAA) as an excellent thesis at the national level in Aerospace Engineering. [Honor-1] [Honor-2]. She also published a first-author journal paper in Chinese Journal of Aeronautics [News]. Following graduation, she will pursue her Master’s and Ph.D. degrees at National University of Defense Technology.
